Assistant Store Manager DJI Flagship Store - Amsterdam City

For our new DJI & Hasselblad Flagship Store in the heart of Amsterdam (opens December), we are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager with strong retail experience and a passion for technology, photography and premium imaging. You will start with a training program in our existing flagship store in Leidschendam (Mall of the Netherlands) to prepare you fully for the opening in Amsterdam.As Assistant Store Manager, you are the right hand of the Store Manager and jointly responsible for the daily operations of the store. You coach the team, safeguard store procedures and ensure a premium customer experience. You actively contribute to achieving sales targets, KPIs and a strong store presentation.

What will you do?

Advise customers professionally on DJI drones, Hasselblad cameras, gimbals and accessories
Provide product demonstrations and deliver a high‑quality customer experience
Coach, motivate and support the store team
Monitor sales results, KPIs and conversion

Oversee stock management, logistics and store procedures
Support demo days, workshops and local marketing activities
Handle cashier tasks and administrative duties accurately
Report to the RetailWorkx management team

Who are we looking for?

2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
MBO4 level education
Strong command of English (required); Dutch is a strong advantage
Affinity with technology, photography or drones
Commercial mindset, results‑driven and hands‑on
Representative, customer‑focused and organisationally strong
A coaching people‑manager who enjoys developing a team
